Wood Chip

Our wood chip is sourced from local managed woodlands and the logs are dried naturally on clean concrete for up to 2 years. A specialised chipper designed to produce fuel quality chip will guarantee a consistent, contaminant free fuel.

The moisture content is checked throughout the delivery season and we aim to supply chip between 25 - 30%. A specialist delivery vehicle can blow the chip directly into the storage hopper.

Storing your woodchip

• When designing the storage hopper there must be a safe access for the delivery vehicle with good lighting
• We can advise on dimensions and best delivery method for your property
• For a cost effective delivery, chip storage hoppers need to hold a minimum of 40 cubic metres (approx. 10 tonne) of chip
